About Us

Tyrrell-Lewis Associates is an independent consultancy led by Simon Tyrrell-Lewis and based in Bromley, south-east London.

Simon began his career of over 20 years by specialising in tools and methods used in defining user requirements and designing systems. During the dot com boom he did projects for a major web design agency for a sports client, and then for a dot com in the higher education market.

In more recent years he has specialised in supporting smaller businesses and building a major web site called Bricks & Brass.

Bricks & Brass serves as a 'showcase' site; it demonstrates his skills at research, writing for websites and graphics design. Simon built a Microsoft Access database which is used to ensure consistent navigation which is then delivered using PHP and MySQL. These are also used to deliver the directory service which also allows advertisers to change their own entries.
